Lee Chong Wei captured his 3rd Super Series Final title in Taipei.

The BWF Super Series Finals 2010 was held from January 5th to 9th in Chinese Taipei.

World No. 1 Lee Chong Wei(AT900PLC) and World No. 3 Peter Gade(ARC10PG) played for the title of the Men’s Singles. In the previous rounds, Lee defeated Thailand’s Boonsak Ponsana with 21-17, 21-18 while Peter defeated China’s Long Chen with 21-19, 21-18.

In the all YONEX players final, Lee captured and defend the crown in 40 minutes with 21-9, 21-14.

After the final, Lee commented that it was a perfect preparation for the Malaysia Open, which will be held from January 18th to 23rd.

Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen won their first Super Series Final title.

In the Men’s Doubles, World No. 1 Mathias Boe(AT900-P)and Carsten Mogensen(VT70) won their first title at the Super Series Finals.

Mathias and Carsten met Korea’s Jae Sung Jung & Yong Dae Lee who defeated them in the group stages. In the final, Mathias and Carsten avenged the Koreans with 21-17, 21-15.
